A native of the Twin Cities Ms. Barbosa received her undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and she earned her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law.

Ms. Barbosa is a member of the Minnesota, Hennepin, and Dakota County Bar Associations. She serves on the Women and the Law Committee of the Minnesota Bar Association.

Ms. Barbosa regularly volunteers for Chrysalis Center as a presenter for their divorce informational seminar and with their limited legal assistance clinic. Ms. Barbosa strongly believes that clients deserve to be treated fairly and with respect.
